"Across the country, Local YWCAs are doing the hard, often invisible work
of meeting urgent needs-whether that's providing emergency shelter, counseling,
or advocacy. When their funding is disrupted the consequences are immediate
and devastating. This fund is about preserving that vital lifeline between local YWCAs and their communities, so that no survivor is left without support, and no community
is left behind."

About the YWCA USA Chairwoman's Campaign

At a time when more people are turning to YWCA services is rising and resources are stretched thin, Local YWCAs are working to sustain essential programs going, from support for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault to child care and housing assistance.

Led by YWCA USA Board Chair Ashlee Davis, the Chairwoman's Campaign is raising $500,000 to strengthen the capacity of Local YWCAs nationwide. This investment provides critical support in fundraising strategy, communications, and emergency assistance so local leaders can continue meeting urgent community needs.

Your gift helps ensure YWCAs can continue to:

• Keep shelters and support services open for survivors and their families.
• Sustain child care and other programs that provide stability and opportunity.
• Strengthen local capacity to fundraise, communicate impact, and respond to emerging needs.

By supporting the Chairwoman's Campaign, you are reinforcing the strength of the YWCA movement and ensuring Local Associations have the tools they need to continue serving women, girls, and families today and into the future.

About YWCA

YWCA USA is one of the nation's oldest and largest women's nonprofit organizations, dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women, and advancing equity for women, girls, and families. As part of the global YWCA movement spanning more than 100 countries, YWCA USA connects local impact to global progress in the pursuit of gender and racial justice.

Through a network of 193 Local Associations in the U.S., the YWCA network serves more than 1 million women, girls, and families each year. Local YWCAs are community-based organizations delivering essential services–including domestic violence support, affordable housing, child care, job training, and health and wellness program–while also advancing local advocacy that responds to the specific needs of their communities.

At the national level, YWCA USA strengthens and amplifies this work by investing in Local Associations, driving coordinated advocacy campaigns, and using  data and research to elevate solutions that address systemic barriers. Together, this integrated network works to create lasting change so that women, girls, and families can thrive in safe, equitable, and opportunity-rich communities.
